The Design Shop was founded in 1980 by Chris Hazelwood who had worked in the advertising and cosmetics industry (Gala, Mary Quant, Max Factor) for 10 years and decided to 'go his own way'.
His first major client was Oriflame, then the largest party plan cosmetics company, where he was responsible for the design and implemention of the entire product range. This and other varied clients both in cosmetics and the computer industry has given him a broad spectrum of experience.
